Wiser minds know that facts are facts, even if imperfect humans cannot perceive them with 100-percent accuracy and therefore misinterpret or deny them. That’s why the goal should be to get as close to the truth as possible, not to just throw up one’s hands and claim that there mustn’t be any truth to get close to.
