The feed, https://wist.info/feed/atom/, renders properly in Google Reader.

The feed that Feedburner translates it into, http://feeds2.feedburner.com/WIST?format=xml, also renders properly in Google Reader.

Feedburner’s onscreen display, http://feeds2.feedburner.com/WIST, is a bit off, with the post subject lines broken in two, the first half the author (category) linking to the author (category), the second half the post title (citation) unlinked.

Feedburner’s email has the post subject lines all linking to their respective posts, but the category breakdown HTML all spelled out, e.g.,

[ul class=”post-categories”] [li][a href=”https://wist.info/author/orwell-george/” title=”View all posts in Orwell, George” rel=”category tag”]Orwell, George[/a][/li][/ul] – “Shooting an Elephant” (1936)

In other words, the category tag used in the atom listing is creating a link to the array of categories, bulletized. I think that’s what’s messing things up here.

Now I have to dig into that feed code again.
